Release day, with the artists on Audora.
A label's roster turns up for each other's records. On Audora, the other artists are your roster. Scene is where you meet them: this week's releases (nearest to your sound first), a first listen on the day each one is out, the shows and release parties coming up, and feedback on a track before it goes anywhere.
Out this week
A first listen, on the day it's out.
- Every record the artists on Audora put out lands on one list on release day, nearest to your sound first and then everyone else, with the last four weeks below it
- Give one a first listen: the whole record, in Audora's own player, with the artist's line about it
- Then, if it stayed with you, answer "What stayed with you?" in one line, with the moment in the track if you like. Only the artist reads it
- Save it on the stores, follow them, say something under their out-now post or put them among the artists you like: whatever you'd do for a record you'd play again
- On release day it's on your Home too, and on Fridays one email brings you the week's records
A first listen is a gift, not a trade: you give one because you want to hear the record, and the artist sees your name and your words.
Yours on the list
Your record in front of the artists who make them.
- Your line on the list. One sentence beside your record (why this one, how it was made), shown to every artist on Audora on the day it's out.
- Who listened. The release shows every artist who gave it a first listen, by name, and what they said. You can thank each one.
- From the artists who listened. Their own records out lately, right under their names, so you can hear theirs too.
- Artists you like. Put up to six artists on Audora on your own artist page, at the very bottom, and each one hears that you did.
- Your switch. A first listen on release day is on for every release you put out through Audora, and you change it on the release itself.
Shows and release parties
Put the night on, and ask the scene.
- Post a show, a release party or a listening party with the day, the place or a link to watch online, and a ticket link
- It shows in Scene for the other artists, the ones in your city and your country first, and they can say they're coming
- Invite the artists you want there by name, and invite Audora too
- A show can go on your public artist page too, for your fans. A release party sits on that release's calendar in Releases once it's going to the stores
Before a release
Fresh ears on a track that isn't out yet.
You've heard your own track too many times to hear it. Put it up in Scene and say what you want to know: the mix, the vocals, the songwriting. Other artists on Audora play the whole track and write back what they hear, with a score out of 5 and, if they like, separate scores for production, songwriting and mixing. It all comes back under My feedback, and the tracks other artists have put up are there for you to hear and answer the same way.

Who is on the list?
Every artist on Audora with a record out through Audora that week, with a first listen switched on for it. The list is ordered nearest to your sound first (the same style, then the same family of music, then everyone), and a record out today always reaches your Home.
What does the artist see after I listen?
Your name on their release's list of first listens, and your line if you wrote one, which only they read. They can thank you for it, and you'll hear that they did.
How do I get my own record on the list?
Put it out through Audora and it's on the list on its release day, with a first listen switched on from the start. Add your line from Scene, and switch the first listen off on the release if you want it off.
Can I invite other artists to my show?
Yes. Post the show or the party in Scene and invite artists on Audora by name. They get a note in their account and can say they're coming. You can invite Audora the same way.
How does feedback before a release work?
Pick any of your own tracks with its audio up (one you haven't released elsewhere) and say what you want to know. It stays up for other artists on Audora to hear until you take it down, and every review comes back under My feedback with a score out of 5 and notes in writing.
Scene is part of every plan, the free one included. See pricing, the campaign around a release and what it did once it was out. We take nothing from your royalties on any plan. If you cancel and we keep your music distributed, we recover only our distribution costs from what it earns. Everything above that is still paid to you.
