Built by a music company in the business since 2016.
Audora is the artist-facing arm of Metalmedia Group, a Gothenburg music company working through the same distribution network the major labels use. We build release machinery for independent artists, and we run it on their side of the table.
The company.
Metalmedia Group i Sverige AB (org. no. 559084-6662, Kungälv, Sweden) has run music out of Gothenburg since 2016, with long-standing relationships in the industry behind its distribution. It built Audora to put that infrastructure in independent artists' hands: distribution, artwork, campaigns and promotion in one place, with the artist owning everything that gets made.
What we owe artists is public: the Artist-First Promise and the distribution terms.
The people.
The artist side is run by Jake E, co-founder and former vocalist of Amaranthe, now fronting CyHra: 25 years writing, touring and producing. The engineering side is led by a team that has spent 20 years building serious digital products. Around them is a working team across A&R, creative and engineering: people from both sides of the desk.

What we hold to.
- We're on your side of the table: the company works for artists and the labels that back them
- What your music earns is yours: We take nothing from your royalties on any plan. If you cancel and we keep your music distributed, we recover only our distribution costs from what it earns. Everything above that is still paid to you.
- Everything we say is checkable: our terms, pricing and commitments are published
- We watch what's performing and put our best artists in front of the industry.
