About
In the business since 2016.
Audora is the artist-facing arm of Metalmedia Group — a Gothenburg music company working with Sony Music's distribution network. We build the release machinery independent artists don't get anywhere else, and we run it on their side of the table.
Rehearsal room · 07:40The company.
Metalmedia Group AB (org. no. 559084-6662) has run music out of Gothenburg since 2016, with a long-standing Sony Music relationship behind its distribution. Audora is the platform it built to put that infrastructure in independent artists' hands: distribution, artwork, campaigns and promotion in one place — with the artist owning everything that gets made.
What we owe artists is public: the commitments · the distribution terms
The people.
The artist side is run by Jake E — co-founder and voice of Amaranthe, now fronting CyHra: twenty-five years writing, touring and producing. The engineering side is led by a team that has spent twenty years building serious digital products. Around them, a working team across A&R, creative and engineering — people from both sides of the desk.
What we hold to.
- We're on your side of the table — the company works for the artist, no one else
- What your music earns is yours: We take nothing from your royalties on any plan. If you cancel and we keep your music distributed, we recover only our distribution costs from what it earns — everything above that is still paid to you.
- Everything we say is checkable — terms, pricing and commitments are published, not implied
- We watch what's performing — and pitch our best artists to the team at Sony.
